No PDad most of them might not have gotten much air down here? Rush of course, one of my old favotites which along with Kansas,ELP, and Yes were my influense toward music like Dream Theater and the like.
BTO, liked the music and the Guess Who and Randys guitar playin but I could not stand to hear him sing. BBBBaby makes me cringe
Let it ride is one of my all time favorites and Turner was singing. Last year I saw Randy on a show with the old Guess Who writter/keyboad/vocalist. I know you Canadians know his name. He fadded from down here and I had been wondering for decades "what happend to the guy that sang for the Guess who" ? I always thought what a great voice, one of the first raw rock voices. Well, let me tell you I was blown away to sit there and listen to him and his songs I never heard. What a true talent. What is his name ?

i'm a sound quality guy, as my stereo is my largest investment. My CD player is the main attraction- it processes the tracks at a very high rate (24bits per second, per channel- Burr/Brown chips). This results in about the most perfect source that can be had- at least for under $100k. What that means is this- whatever is on the track is reproduced- perfectly. If its a junk recording, junk sound is reproduce, if its Pink Floyd'* Learning to Fly, it sounds like i'm in the studio with them- no really. All that to say, I will listen to anything that sounds good (objective quality only, subjective is established later)
Right now i'm finding that Rascal Flatts has some great stuff in the drum region- super tight and acurate. I'm a sucker for the ladies though: Norah, Shawn Colvin, Diana Krall, Sarah Vaughan... But, don't get me wrong- when i wanna show someone whats up, Master P'* Bourbans and 'Lacs will make em reconize
