Default Roll rear windows ALL the way!

I'm about to go on the adventure of replacing the window motor on the rear drivers side of my '92 Bonnie. And I've come to remember that the rear windows don't roll down very far and it'* annoying and unsightly.

Is there a way to make it so that the rear windows roll ALL the way down?

If you take a better look at the shape of the door.....as I recall the door is not big enough at the back edge for the window to go down much further

That sucks! I think it looks kinda gay how the windows only go down so far.

Yep, Bill'* memory is right. Several members over the years have tore into them. It not what you would think in there. There isn't any further room for them to go.

I guess the convertible idea is the only option left to get some more sun there!

another post, from 2003, claimed that there is a stopper bolt on the regulator, which can be removed to gain about 3" more of downward travel. It also claimed that the tracks were not long enough, but the doors were wide enough. search on "rear pwr window", I would have posted a link or bumped it, but the MOD already yelled at me for bumping it the first time. I don't get it.
