Well my sister just bought a 2001 Impala. Base trim level, practicly no options. It came with hubcaps. She really wants rims and what do you know im driving on Impala rims. She wants to buy them off me, but i'm not sure. I have been lookin for some steelies to drive on during the winter because i had planned on keeping the rims i have now. So i thought maybe i will sell my rims to her take her steelies, use those for the winter and save up for some 18'* during the winter. How much do you think i can get a set of 18'* w/ tires? Does this sound like a good plan or no?

Its such a broad range dude, new or used...... cheap or quality. And with rims you really get what you pay for. Cheaper baely plated ones dont last long. I've seen some last two years and starting to rust out. Mine were $1400 - Wheels only. American Racing makes a good product in the $800-1000 range. A friend has geniune three piece billet chromes that were almost a grand a piece. Check out E-bay and look for a used deal on name brands.
