Riding a pallet jack.
AHHH the memories, I used to get dirty looks from the safety rep for doing that on site. I got rid of one of those pallet jacks. I have one left if anyone wants one. Free, put pick up only.

Haven't gotten a chance to watch the videos, but I've trained myself to be able to do power slides and drifts with the ones at work
Only thing I haven't perfected yet is jumps... I still end up going farther and... well... the handle only has one place to go.
Now that brings back memories. We use to use the jacks as scooters for getting from one end of the bldg to the other. Greg, who I worked with, was the best rider I've ever seen. We had a loading dock where the trailers had to back down a ramp to reach our door. So the front of the trailer would be at a nice up-hill angle. It would take three or four of us to push a full pallet up to the front of the trailer. Then Greg would hop on and ride er down the length of the trailer, shooting through the loading dock, cold storage and onto the production floor. Always with a smile on his face and with a polite wave to whomever he passed. The owner always shook his head and told me he would tell Greg to stop, but he could never stop laughing long enough to get the words out. I think the inventor of the Segway scooter must have done this himself a few times. Same principle. Stupid? maybe. Fun? most definately!!!!!!!!!!
Also brings back memories for me. We used to do this stuff when I worked at the local grocery store..
Fun, but.. really unsafe. I almost lost my balance one time.. that would NOT have been good

1337ssei have been discussing a drifting video for the back-to-back chair pallet jack obscenity. That, and seeing how much G-force the ride can take. If we set up a cone obstacle course, we can time the ride and see how quickly we can run it without the chairs sliding off. I think a few cable ties holding down the chair legs would definitely provide some better handling opportunities. That, and leg muscles. Lots of leg muscles.
