Well I just got home from RevItUP. Pretty cool. Got to drive a bunch of SS vehicles and of course a Corvette. On the time road course I beat my brothers time but not my dads. For the road course you got to drive around Cobalt SS 2.4L Autos. My best time was 31.52 seconds. It was a pointed course based off a pro drivers best time highest being 1000 points. I ended up with 504 which was enough for a Novice class driver to get a silver medal. They had some skills courses for improving vehicle placement and understanding front wheel drive handling.

On the test drive course they had an accleration straightway a braking section and a slalom. Test drove a Corvette(many times), Impala SS, MC SS, Malibu SS, and the Cobalt SS */C manual. The Cobalts are really pretty good handlers. THe Malibu was fun to slid around on the course with 18" wheels. The only vehicle I wish I really got to drive also was the Trailblazer SS but by the time I got there they had removed it to put on new tires.

Overall very good experience and for only $45 got to test drive a bunch of cars that I normally wouldn't have gotten to.

Sounds like a cool experience. Snap any pictures while you were doing all this? I also think $45 isn't bad to do some hard driving in those cars.
