Default Regular Self Serve 1.399/Litre CDN.... that'* $4.49/G USD

I wanna shoot someone... namely the oil companies.....

First they hike it up 20cents in 1 day.... then another 10cents the next day... this is unreal and unacceptable.... the gov't has to come in and do something about this. But our PC gov't in NS is saying that when gas prices increase they see less money, because less people buy gas.... that'* absolute bu||sh|t.... the gov't needs to go.

I could see a hike of 3 to 5 cents based on the hurriance.... but this is totally unacceptable. How come when the US invaded Iraq to protect the oil, we never saw the price of gas/oil decrease now that the US is in control? Odd eh?

Anyways...... $1.399/Litre for Regular Self Serve..... that'* $4.49/G in USD.
I'm going to be sick......

I've heard perdictions that the price will increase to $.160 or $1.70/Litre before things even out..... for you Americans that would be $5.45/G in USD.....

At that rate it would cost me almost $110 CDN (or $93.50 USD) to fill up ONE of my Bonnevilles.

The Prez just made an address about doing some of the stuff I've said. Doing away with blend regulations. Now they need to start sinking some more holes in the ground. I've also seen info on a oil price bubble burst coming. Going down to $35 a barrel.

You can run an L67 on 87 octane, just don't have a heavy foot while doing it. Hard times call for drastic measures. The problems come when you put your foot into it.

With my old car (94 Intrepid 3.5L), it actually paid to put in 89 octane vs 87 because of the difference in mileage - there was a 2mpg difference on the 4 separate ocasions I tested the theory. That difference was enough to justify the $0.10 more per gallon for 89. What would be interesting is for someone to run a few tanks of 87 through an L67 and compare mileage. If you ran them both just as gingerly as you could (and exactly the same), I bet that premium would in the end pay for itself dispite the $0.20 difference in price.
