Default Radars for Rent

Check this site out: http://www.radarsforrent.com/

You can rent a Radar detector for a specified time. So if you are going on a trip or whatever, you could rent it for the trip rather than go out and buy one.

They also state that you could use this to test out Radar detectors before you buy. They also have a rent-to-own option as well for these instances.

Seems like a neat concept.

Nice concept, but WOW Around $50 for a few days. I'll sell you my old one for $20 shipped.

That guy'* offering the wrong products to the right market.

He should be renting the radar jammers.

Radar detectors will never do you any good with the "instant on" feature that a majority of the highway patrols use.

His product selection is pretty limited too.

If you know how to drive with traffic, instant on can be defended against. I always keep fodder ahead of me if possible. You can get a warning off the cars in front of you.

The Bel Vector 995 is a NICE detector. I have the 740 in the Zilla (front location), and it'* served me VERY well.

The price includes 2 day shipping there and back, which I believe accounts for a lot of the cost according to the owner of the site (they stopped into the NE site)

I would assume that they will be getting the latest models.
