So uh there is this phone company out here called qwest, and when you live in a small town with 40,000 people there is not that much to choose from for products and services.


My usuall bill is around 85 bucks....but I got a $272 bill today.

Normally:

Basic Phone line: 27.50
- No Caller ID
- No Call Waiting
- No Voicemail
- No Long Distance
FCC fees: 13.43

Basic DSL w/no email 1.5: $42 something
Random junk: remainder


I moved to a new house and they charged me a:

$30 relocation fee
199 dsl transfer fee

of course they never told me.

A little pissed off right now since it is a month to month basis, no contracts or anything.
They NEVER told me that this fee would exist, only the 30 dollar relocation fee.

what are my options here to void that out?

that really sux big time!! My cellphone bills use to be that high every month. Now they are not so bad. Whew!

no idea about those relocation charges though... have you called them?

We had qwest. That was one of the deciding factors to go Cell only for me. I have no landline, and don't miss it.

11 times this month, all to verify different things. I made sure my bill for this month would not exceed $130, that was the orginal agreed ammount.
