Being a ME major is awesome!!!
This is the third week in a row i had to pull an allniter inorder to finish a lab report for my system dynamics course. And turst me, i am not procrastinating. I try to at least get 4-5 hours of sleep a nite which is pretty good for an ME but this teacher wants to you to take over the world with matlab simulations.
ahh well only 13 more days till summer.
/end rant
HAHAHA... actually... my Software Engineering teachers are the same way, except they want up to write a program to take over the world. My future roommate is also a ME major and he has spent the last 2 days designing a 2 piece driveshaft in Solidworks... fun stuff... Atleast you only have 13 days...
Mechanical Engineer, innit? 95naSTA, you should be here at Iowa State with me.... supposed to be one of the better engineering schools in the nation? I'm not an engineer, but I've heard we have a decent reputation.
Funny you should mention that, I had an all nighter last night as well. Had to design a motorized shopping cart for my Machine Design class. Went in the labs at 8 pm, left at 8 am.
ME projects = BOHICA

Kinda similar to my fluids class i have right now too. Teams of 4 had to make a glider out of a raw material, that was powered by a mouse tap. An egg also had to be placed in the glider which couldn't break or you would get a zero. Who ever got the furthest won. My team got 4th out of 12. I'm pissed cause we would have won if we didn't hollow it out. :?

I'm hating this teacher right now but i know i'll be glad that i had him for a few classes when i graduate.
Wow, you actually have seen to have fun projects. Ours are usually dry industrial/ real world projects, not that its a bad thing. We just turned in a design for a heat sink for a Pentium 4 processor. Heat Transfer is not my forte, thats for sure
BTW, where do you go to school at?

I'm going to Temple University. I got into Drexel (held in a higher regard) but it cost 3x as much and most of the teachers at the open house were fresh off the boat and hard to understand.
