Possibly a PS3 sometime since it will play all previous PS games. But for now I'm content with PC and my modded PS2. I've been playing Final Fantasy XII for the past two weeks. I might be tempted to get a Wii if the new Zelda lives up to expectations.

Im sorry but for the price tag I will NOT get a ps3 for a while . I am going to start a war with my next comment but I think I need to air it. I would NOT buy a PS3 due to the simple fact that there will be a revisions doneto the system in the next few months as sony did woth the PS@. I believe there were 10 diffrent revisions (series) of PS2 (and no I am not counting the SLIM ones) This is poor quality in my eyes. why do you ask?well because as you see later the older revision systems tend to fail fast. I have had nintendo for a while and have never had an issue.I have never heard of any issues with most nintendo products. If I were you I petrman I would wait. I have just seen to many people that own the first PS2 throw them out because they break. And that doesn't insue my convindence in the new rushed to market PS3.

But I know what you're saying, and this is true not just for the ps, but for all new products in general. Take cars, for example. As a rule, I would NEVER buy a car that just came out. I would wait a couple years for them to get the bugs out. It'* not just PS. I have a feeling the Wii will be the same way, if not worse, because of its new technology. Just my two cents

Since the PS3 is coming out soon, I'm gonna say "forget taking care of the crappy PS2 slim" and get a PS3 when the PS2 bites the dust. I have to say, my slim PS2 is the WORST POS I've ever bought. If your slow and haven't heard the news, don't buy one.
