I've learned a lot about working with wood in the last month. I'm very excited to have finally made my first all wooden speaker and have it look as good as it does.
If you have access to some wood working tools, you certainly can!

I didn't like how some of the wood didn't absorb the stain as much as other parts, so I did a light sanding and applied another layer of stain. Much more even now.
Polyurethane satin clear coat is going on tomorrow for the final finishing touch.

All done!!
I took the stuffing out and put in 1-1/2" acoustic foam. MUCH cleaner mids, tighter bass, and better looks. I'll take some interior pics later. These sound soooo wonderful.

Don't worry, the next sets of these will have flush mount drivers.
