Meat prices are thru the roof right now for some stuff.

Please remember that some of us do not live close to a big center, it takes some of us 4 hours to get anywhere with a decent store. So we have to buy what we can, I lucked out when I got our turkey and ham, there happened to be a sale on them. I normally pay $7.00 CDN for a jar of peanut butter, so the prices SilverBullet is paying does not surprise me.
