It pushed the front bumper into the tire and the air bags didn't go off :?:

It must take quite a hit to make them go off. :?

I hit a deer once at that speed many years ago. I was so pissed off at the deer that I put the boots to its lifeless body.

There was deer hair coming out of my heater for months. I went to a local car wash and freaked people out as guts fell out from inside the grill.

Insurance covered it under comprehensive, so I only had to pay the deductible.

Wow. I hit a deer in the 83 C15 last year at 75+ and it only put out the headlight.... Trav hit one in his 92 Dak at 60 and it dented a little of his hood and took his headlight... Of course we only have little deer here, Antlers only shoulder height, But still... Wow.

one of my buddies in my welding class has already hit 2 deer. they start roaming because its the time of the year where farmers harvest thier food so the deer are looking for food. and since people are looking to make the deer food they also run for thier lives too

Hitting a deer is a real PITA!!!!!!!!!!

I've only hit one and after the ins co paid what they were going to pay,I had the work done at the prison I worked at in the voc ed body shop.
Didn't really cost me anything except a couple of cartons of smokes for a tip!!!!!!

Many moons ago I hit one with my VW Scirocco while driving home very late one night. I saw one cross the road and knew that another was sure to follow so I slowed down. Sure enough, another one darted out of the woods right in front of me(WHAM!) I hit it flush with my bumper. I felt like I hit a brick wall. The deer rolled over twice, got up, and ran into the woods. I was lucky that the only damage was the plastic front grill(about $25 at that time).
This morning I noticed "blood & guts" on the Interstate on my way to work. I assume a 16-wheeler hit a deer late last night. So you might see a set of antlers on a big-rig heading south.

Driving back from NJ sunday I was pasting a truck at 85 mph in Pennsylvania
then came 2 a sharp right turn so I slowed down 2 55 mph as I entered the
turn & then my girl said watch out. A deer walk right in front of the Bonnie in
the right lane. I just missed him by swerving 2 the left lane. Not sure
if the car behind me even saw the deer or not. All the way 2 Chicago through
PA, OH, & IN all you would see is deer remains on the side of the road. A few
time all you would see is little pieces & blood speaded over the road. I guess
those deer where hit by a semi. That'* got 2 be crazy when it happens....................

That'* what it should be. Any decent insurance company should also consider it a "No Fault" claim, which does not affect your rates or insurability (apparently that doesn't always happen, for Custom'* folks anyway :? ).
