Pontiac G5, America is getting one too...
Yes the cobalt has been out for a few years. Recently they added G5 to the name and will drop the cobalt name. Reason for that is that another car manufacturer OWNS the cobalt name and GM cannot use it in the U.*. . SOOOO they will just rename it.
This info comes directly from a dealer, since I was talking with the owner when I went in for a job interview.

Nothing like adding another car to the lineup that already has a reputation for reliability problems
But, once they get it straightened out, it might help Pontiac out a bit. It actually belongs in the lineup. Unlike the Trans Sport/Montana/SV6 nonsense. Thank goodness they are finally taking minivans out of the lineup!
