Pontiac G5, America is getting one too...
 

Looks like the Cobalt is getting a rebadge for Pontiac. www.Pontiac.com is saying it will be in US showrooms in August. Looks like the Canadians have had their model alredy for a year? Also looks like a coupe only offering to the US :roll:

It actually doesn't look that bad. I can say it looks much better than the Cobalt.

I agree, but the whole re-badging thing does absolutly NOTHING for me :evil:

Before the GA we looked at both the Cobalt and the sunfire. Niether was roomy enough. Glad we went with the GA.

I've driven one, the GT is decently quick. Quick enough to be fun with the 5 spd. Overall it is (like the Cobalt) a nice, tight package, and miles ahead of the old Cavis and Sunfires in terms of ride, handling, and build quality.

Both of them still look girly IMO.

we have had them up her going on 2 years now, and there much better then what there replacing (sunfire/cavalier)

I seen a Cobalt at Carlilse GM exibit that looked a teenager spent his college fund on X-er mods. I quess it's good that kids have a choice to buy American, if thats their style preference. The Pontaiac version definatly looks better. The bagde engineering is here to stay, One engineering structure with Cosmetic sub-structures. :cry:
