I know most of the people on this board are American and this doesn't directly affect you guys, but the Canadian government doesn't know what citizenship you are from your e-mail address and name.

The Ontario folks are having car mods banned.
Yes you read right.
If this bill passes, no telling how long it'll take to be copied by the rest of Canada.

Please sign this petition so that this absurd bill doesn't become a Canadian law.

Well... the thing is that the fine print dictates ( from what I hear ) is NOS even though I would eventually like to get NOS for my Bonnie.. I think that it makes all the Ricers out there think twice about how hot **** their car really is. Without NOS.. there'* basically no competition between rice and domestic. The other thing I know they want to bann to are those stupide 3 foot wing that Ricers favors most.. It is their attempt to curb street racing but that will never happen, and even if the legislation pass.. it will not last long as it will hurt the economy, and to be honest.. is like banning french fries cause it'* bad for you. I will look more into it tomorrow as this is late while typin this message out at 4.10 AM... The Queen has been keepin me up woopin my *** on Street Fighter..

Was curious to what you meant by no competition. Was this about all imports in generaldont stand a change. Or the only way a import can be a challenge is if it has spray? As far as the wings go why would the want to ban those.

There is much rice out there faster than many domestics...some of these I would love to own. Examples:

1.) Nissan Maxima
2.) BMW Z8
3.) Mitsubishi 3000GT
4.) Mazda RX-7 (DROOL!)

Above all, I would kill for a Nissan Skyline GT-R.

Dont forget the Toyota Supra twin turbo, changed over to the T-88 turbo on it. But most of the newer imports are running in the low to mid 14'* stock.

I am a Canadian ( west coast) I would be glad to sign. Just for the record most Californian street racers run hot cars that are not licensed anyway. They were/ are forced to because they have nowhere cheap to race and the road rules stop them from running the cars legally.

I remember when Ontario put radar cameras along the freeway. LOL what a waste of money that was. You are right to fight it though.

I understand Ontario the province.

I know a few people in that part of the world and I lived in Mississauga for a short time way back.

No but cali has major restrictions and all it has led to is more people breaking the rules and going to unsafe places to break them.
