You should stop by and say hi. I'll point you in the direction of a junkyard that may have parts for the BMW. What make and model is it? Also, when you coming this way?

And are you sure it is a 3.8L? they had 2.8L in them til 89 when they got the 3.3L. Neighbor has a 2.8L 89 4 door XC Special Edition and my dad had a 3.3L 89 4 door XC Special edition a couple years ago. Both are decent cars.
Yeah it'* the 155hp? 3.8 SFI. If I can, I could stop by, but it isn't guaranteed. The bimmer is a '87 325is with the metal bumpers, not the plastic.

binghamton would have your bumpers most likely. might be a couple here as well. I'll be looking sat.

Let me know if you pass on the car. I'm interested in it as a better winter rat than the GSR.

Yes it is, but I thought I pointed out that it did have front end damage. It needs a bumper, hood, grille and that'* it.
yeah but I assumed it was still drivable with the damage until you fixed it?
Anyway nice to have a GM front wheel driver again.

It is driveable, but the fan rubs the radiator.

Drive fast enough so they don't come on

Seriously though.. typically it'* a plastic fan and you should be able to rig it back from the rad for the ride home.

Well, change of plans. I am NOT going to buy the XC just for the fact that it is too far away for me. So Jimmy, if you want to get the car, I will let the guy know you are interested.

I was tipped off to a junkyard with 4 e30'* in it that are complete, so looks like I'm going to get parts for the bimmer!
