Default picked up a new project

i bought a 1977 kawasaki kz-650 for TWENTY BUCKS!!!! It runs great (ive heard it and ridden it before) all it needs are new condensors.I got it as a race bike as i race motorcycle'* on a 1/8th mile dirt drag. over the winter it will stripped down completly everything repainted and the motor completly bored and rebuilt along with many other mods. This is not my first kz-650 race bike it will be my third and i have 15 trophies just from last season i usually win my class every race along with top eliminator.top eliminator is where the winners of all the classes race and the winner gets a big trophy and 200 bucks.i have been high points champion for the past 4 years and will hopefully continue this streak for a while.i will take pics when i return home in an hour or two.Where is the proper place to post these pics...in the other rides section??thanks for reading

Nice Find! But I can't ride with my feet behind my knee'* any longer. LOL. I traded my 2002 V-Star classic in this past spring for new V-Star Tourer. At my age you appreciate riding "reclining chair" style. The Tourer is a nice middle weight Cruiser and the fuel injected 950 acts like alot more cc than it is.

well see that what i like about the kz series is that they are quick but also semi comfortable but i know what you mean.as i do have a 81 kz 750 that i ride on the street but i like the 650'* for racing cause they are lighter and i have gotten very familiar with builing the motors to how i like them.only reason i got a new one is cause my other one after 7 seasons of nothing but being beaten has lost its compression slowly but surely.i was planning to rebuild this winter but i figured for twent buck i have a bone stock never beaten or modded platform to start fresh with why not!!after all the internal mods they get a set of 750 carbs and all sorts of other go fast goodies
