I picked up my 1995 Ford Contour GL today and all I gota say is wow what a steal wholy crap. The belt makes some small minor noises (nothing noticeable when driving) he thinks the tranny is going to go soon but I feel no slipping and no clunking even when manually downshifting. This car is pretty plain not much options at all no cruise no tilt no pw no pl the temp gauge dont work. This car has ******* awsome get up and go for a 4 cyl wow i was so impressed it has a 2.0l DOHC 4 cyl. He thinks the engine is going to go I dont see why........the engine leaks alittle bit of oil but not bad just a gasket or something.... The big problem it has is the front right strut assembly is shot the coil spring snapped and it makes alot of crappy nosies when you turn the stering wheel. It has 142k miles on it (close to 143k) It has the center console shifter (main thing i like about this car) (no oil tach or volts meters tho :( ) I dont know how hard it is to replace the strut assembly if i get one from the junk yard.......... BTW dunno if and when i can get picks cause i dont have a digital camera and the only way is to like get the pics on a disk I dunno its nothing much to look at plus all u people like bonnevilles and this is going to help me get through the last 2 months of school YEE HA

Ha its a 2.0L DOHC with a 3 speed /w O/D tranny (automatic) I cant even get the tires to squeak when i puncher down off a stop sign going strait (havent tried it turning yet cause the strut is junk) once the RPMS get up its got power then......only way to do burn-outs is to either reverse drops (HELL NO) or start on grass and go onto the road or parking lot but i dont expect much. I aint gona beat this hardcore like my other cars just hard acceleration to the speed limit till i get bored with the power....
