Default Pet Peeve

<RANT>

One simple word: PUNCTUATION

I really can't stand the fact that some people don't find using proper punctuation, and at least passible spelling the least bit important. My eyes want to bleed when I look at some of the posts lately.

Well in the fast-paced world of instant and text messaging, it is very easy to get used to typing, and yes even speaking using abbreviations. sumtimes its e-z-r 2 say it da short way. jus git er dun :P my spelling errors are due to poor typographical skills

That second comma is arguable, and it is spelt "passable." Passible is a word, but of a completely different meaning.

What about correct spelling?

You spelled passible wrong...it is passable assuming that is the word you were looking for.

If that is the least of your worries - yippee. Some people don't have good spelling or punctuation capabilities. They do the best they can. Even highly educated folks can make errors from time to time
