Sad....sad.... :(

I like the comment made by one critic of the decision that he will now have to airbrush the cigars out of all his pictures of Winston Churchill.

I have some what mix emotions about this. I believe that cartoons are pretty influential to children. Unfortunately this is not the real problem. Where are parents today?

Best example is a real life example from my life. Couple weeks ago I attended a wedding, I heard a mom tell her kids (ages 4-7), "lets go home now, I'll put a movie on for you." I'm sorry, but this is not parenting. Movies are not baby sitters, and this is the exact reason media influences children so much. The movies and TV shows have become their parents...WTF :?:

Welcome to the new lazy age. We make everyone change so we don't have to do anything.

Don't worry Darrel, there'* already a movement to remove the violence out of cartoons. Some feel the cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Road Runner, and even Bugs Bunny, should be removed from daytime television...

I saw a woman, who was the head of some advocacy group, on TV the other day talking about that very thing.
