Explain what you mean, Bill. Do you mean the quick launch bar next to the start menu in XP? Or do you mean the Links bar in IE?

Yeah. Quick Launch is windows, usually next to the Start button. Links are in IE

To set up Quick Launch buttons, drag the Icon for the program to the quick launch area.

To set up links, drage the address (click on the icon on the address bar and hold it) to the Links bar.
