I got to looking at my bike and WOW! I need to change the oil again. First time I had to do it twice in a season. Life is good, my tailbone is a hurtin. I really wish the V-Stars has real rear shocks. Only real bitch I have about my Classic.

Yes she'* very well dressed. LOL I dont have the engine gaurds though and wouldn't want them. I have always viewed them as kinda clunky and kinda gay looking. Like a "Brush Gaurd" on a truck. Alot of metal that isnt going to do anything but get mangled if you hit anything anyway. And a weapon against you on a bike if you catch something @ 70MPH. Another issue I have with them is that riding by myself I corner fast and deep even on this beast and have scrapped my foot pads more than once. They retract and give, an engine gaurd wouldn't. What I want next is a seat cover. Have one picked out. Natural Black lambskin cover with 2 inches of memory foam and a gel bottom. Thats a mod I can sink into....

Now Kevin'* got me going out the shed to see if I can visualize OEM Vulcan adjustables morphed onto the bike...............

I think now would be a good time to post some pics of your bike John!

np on the guards. I'm shipping them back to the guy who sent the wrong ones to me.

As for the custom seat you speak of.......WOW thats sounds comfy! My butt like relaxed as I read your description long enough to squeak out a fart unknowingly
