When, for the price of a Mt Dew, he could have someone local and much wiser weeding out the POSs before tripping all that way.

Just reading this now, Bob. Sorry about your issues, but very good write up! You walk through the proper steps for doing a diagnosis. Start simple and move toward the more complicated.

Glad you got that part fixed. Now, you'll need to do just as detailed a write-up once you get your lean bank code resolved. That'* another tough nut to crack.

Grats on the fix. If you want another 7-band, you can take mine from my GP but you have to buy it for the price it will take me to install my aftermarket in there.

Too lazy to do it myself. Too poor to get someone else to do it.

BB - I still don't think the radio itself was an issue. I opened up the '97 and the '95 radios/CD players and none of the connectors or the CD players themselves were interchangeable, and although relocating the amp wire resulted in some pretty nice power and sound, I just still wonder if they were not compatable. I still have the radio and friend here at work with a '95, that we are going to swap radios and se if it draws on his Bonne. If it does draw, we will try to swap out the CD player since his current one is not functioning properly, and this one is/was.

Ben - Runs stronger? Yes

BB - Come on down, the weather is great (for another month or so)

Stan - That'* for heading up last months meeting of the the "Lazy Azzez Anonymous Club" (BTW, I'll finish writing up the minutes of our last meeting when I get off my butt and get around to it ) and for being smart enough to know that a Mt. Dew can be used as a bribe.

Greg - It does appear that some internal doo-hickey was allowing the thingy to continue to power the amp after shut-off.

Mike - Hoping the LB code is simplythe posistve cable, but remaining realistic. That codes a bugger and can be the result of so many things. I will keep track of and document my findings and post if in anyway, it will benefit the BC.

Chandler - Not sure I can pay for your upgraded sound, but I do have dibs on the that 7-band stocker you currently possess. :P
