Yeah I think you're right Bill. I bought some items from them a few years ago, and got AMAZING clearance deals. In once instance, I got a set of Sunbeam electric hair clippers (I used to cut my hair REAL short) that were out of production, and advertised for $6-7. With all the length attachments and such. When I got my credit card statement a few weeks later, I was only charged $3.83 for them!

A week or so ago I ordered some little R/C cars for my nephews for this Christmas, haven't received them yet. But they're just like any other online retailer... if you shop around there'* a chance you might save a few bucks by going with them, but probably nothing crazy like back in the day.
