Default Overstock.com

I've been browsing this site, seems pretty cool.

Anyone have any experience buying for it, from either the US or Canada.

That stuff'* to expensive for me. Mama got some stuff from them, we got it pretty quick I guess. Good stuff, though.

Its actually helping me get ideas for Christmas. My fear is shipping north of the border...costs get a bit out of hand. For example, I love Ebay, Amazon etc...but I never really used em until they came out with a .ca version of both.

If you're getting any toys, try http://www.3000toys.com . Not sure about NOTB, but in the states, it is $7 flat rate for shipping, no matter how much you buy. Good products to. That'* where I get most of my little car collection.

Never bought from them, but I can tell you their name is misleading now. They started as selling overstocked goods, but they're almost fully-retail to the best of my knowledge now.

They kept the name as it makes them 'appear' to be a bargain. It'* overstocked, so it must be a good price, eh?

I tend to agree with that Bill

I think it will just be an idea bin for me, unless I hear from a local that they used it with some degree of success.

the best part of Overstock.com is their TV commercial chick.

When I upgraded my bed to a king I bought all my sheets from overstock...and some earrings for the girlfriend. I felt as though I got a good price on them and they showed up relatively quickly. If you have any doubts about the savings, it'* easy enough to do some comparison shopping at other vendors online. For my part though, I feel as though I got a good deal and would have no problem buying from them again.
