We both got 12K-something. I did an unstable overclock to 4.11GHz, but it'* retired from overclocking and now runs stock with a good cooler on it.

I took two sticks of DDR266 memory, one CL2 and the other CL2.5, and ran them in dual channel, DDR400 2.5-3-3-7 at 3.1V. Then I tried 440MHz, and though it worked, it locked up shortly after because I didn't increase the latencies.

I ran a GeForce4 MX440 64MB video card at 1.65V AGP voltage and overclocked from 250/400 to 400/580. It'* weird that the voltage regulators let this happen.

A 2.53GHz Celeron D, for some reason, was overclocked to 3.8GHz 800MHz FSB only a few seconds after being installed. I'm sure it could have gone higher. Anyone try this one?

Some time ago, I had a GeForce FX5200 128MB, 128-bit ram, that I took from 250/400 to 316/460; stock voltage.

AthlonXP 2000, Palomino, 1.67GHz, 266MHz FSB, to 1.85GHz, 1.85V, 296MHz FSB. The Palomino core was a terrible overclocker.

Athlon64 3000, Venice, 1.8GHz to 2.493GHz, 1.55V.

Those are from a long, long time ago. Recently, I took a Core 2 Duo 6600 from 2.4GHz to about 3.8, and it stayed stable with water cooling. :p

I haven't overclocked my 8800GTS (Christmas present -really) yet because it runs about 60-70 C at idle even at stock clocks. Where can I find a good cooler for this behemoth?

So, all of this hardware is still running. Especially interesting is the MX440 video card. That was a massive overclock with stock cooling! What are your records? Depends on the people we have on this forum, I may not have gone as far as most record holders on the net.

Wow, it'* been so long since I've looked at Newegg so deeply. Thanks! Do you think I would upset people if I were to get a separate reservoir for the video card? If I do SLI, it would make sense. The problem here is that I just can't invest so much money into my PC because my Bonneville needs a SII swap with an intercooler, underdrive pulleys on utilities, a smaller pulley on the supercharger, a 4T80E transmission, and new tires every couple of days. So, you see my dilemma...

who cares if you upset others with a cooling system dedicated just to vid hell i am thinking about it my self when i step up and get my other gtx card theas things are masive and trading out for the water cooling on them alone will free up some mutch needed room for air flow and sutch

Good point. Well, I'm set then. How hot does the GTX run, and have you overclocked it?

Bandit, are we the only two overclockers on this forum? I'm sure willwren has an overclocked car PC or something, right?

Well, that'* just not right. I think we need to ask nVidia for some help on this one. Who'* with me? And then we'll overclock.

I right now have an ATI chip (X1100) on my laptop that has Ubuntu on it. So, I am completely unable to render 3D well enough. I can't wait until I get another processor for my PC (sold, not damaged because of OC )
