Pontiac donate $8. Million dollars.
.....well maybe they could write it off as advertising expenses, they are big enough.
"The Oprah Winfrey Show," which debuted in 1986, is syndicated to 212 domestic markets and 109 countries.
Not a bad way to sell the C6, give away a few hundred in hopes of selling a few hundred thousand. :P
she also gave away $130,000 to a couple that ran a foster home, as well as a TRUCKLOAD of electronics from best buy. she gave another girl a makeover, and she'll be in Jane magazine soon. she also will be paying this girls tuition for any school for a year... my gf watched the second half hour of the show and she said she balled her eyes out to some of the guests stories. she told me the place went berzerk when they seen a lot filled with new G6s with bows on them and were handed keys

To put things in perspective:
A 30 second commercial time slot during the Super Bowl costs over $9 million!! So, for just under $8 million, Pontiac and Oprah are being publicized in a postive light all around the US (and I'm sure some parts of the world). You can't beat the publicity.
