Only in Madelia...
...or other extremely small towns.
I was out to eat with one of my co-workers today at a newer dinner that is down the street from our place of business. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. When the food came out I took a bite of the burger and went for a fry. Just then an older gentleman, probably 70+ comes walking up and leans down right next to me, and asks, "can I have just 1 fry?"
I laugh and say sure. Turns out he wanted to try them to see if he liked them before he ordered them.
