One of those days
Semper Fi from the small branch of Brothers in Arms. My nephew is no longer in Iraq. San Diego now.
Funny how families stick to certain branches, although in my case, my Dad was in the AAC, brother in the Army (nam), and I went USMC. But I won out over my nephew, and his younger brother will follow me, too. (It'* the Dress Blue uniform, guys. Don't be jealous).

"Anchors away" is the American navy, us canadians have different songs, I should explain, I am a reservist that works with the Cadet program as an instructor, I have had sea time but mostly I work with youth, our song is "heart of oak", so I am not reg force like you gentlemen but I did serve for a short time.
soory if I came across as a regular such as yourself, as it stands now I am a weekend warrior, hope I didn't seem like a fake. I did do one tour with H.M.C.*. Winnipeg and it was the experience of a lifetime.
We arn't to respected cause we are as low as you can go on the reserve ladder but thank you I appreciate the compliment, yeah I did the tour as a cadet myself and even though we were cadets they treated us as one of the crew (dicipline included) except where we had to have security clearance to be
