One of those age old debates.
I Go to the POP, except when my mom gives me her card to pump the gas i top off
Funny story, we were driving up to Carlisle Pa. last year for the All Ford Nationals, which is This coming weekend, we're going again, 40th Anniversary for the Cougars too! ANYWAY, so we're going through new jersey i believe it was, and we stopped for gas and dad gets out and goes to the pump, and this man comes running out hollering at my dad and my dad was like WTH. Then the guy calmed down once he saw our Virginia Tags, thats when we found out that new jersey and something like 11 other states it'* against the law to pump your own gas.

I fill it up once a week and when the nozzle clicks I go up to the even dollar amount. I usually fill up at a 1/2 tank so it doesn't run me too much and I always check my mpg to see how she'* running.

Well my gas gauge doesnt work, so I have to fill up every time, because otherwise I would at some point, almost certainly run out of gas.
I think the key is consistency, at least for checking mpgs.
