If his radio is a cheap one with the turnable **** style volume control super glue it at full volume or down to nothing. If he'* running it off batteries turn one around. If its a plug in one put a peice of heavy duty wire around each end of the plug in so it doesn't draw any current.

or wrap a piece of wire around the 2 prong way up by the top of the pulg. then leave it unplugged. thatll learn him.
