Default Old textbooks

So, we are at my parents' place for an Easter lunch today. I happen to look at one of the bookshelves, and there'* a couple new ones. One caught my eye first. Pretty old, several decades, titled "Anatomy of Sex". So, naturally, I pick it up. On the inside of the cover is written "Paul Hawkins", my grandfather that died a few years before I was born. It'* also got a school name and a year. Ok, so I realize mom has gone through some of her parents' stuff and pulled out grandpa'* textbooks. Flip through some pages and it had some interesting diagrams in it.

But I get to the next one, Chemistry. Makes sense, he was a chemist and invented a super glue and latex paint (some form of it anyway). Inside the cover is the same note. The next several pages... I did not expect...

Grandpa had taped in dozens of small pinup girls. All 30'* vintage, of course, when grandpa was in college. It'* a wonder grandpa learned so much chemistry given the degree of distraction he provided himself.
