If you think that alternator'* bad, wait until you try to replace the timing belt. There'* a motor mount in the middle of it.

yup, i tried for a LONG time to replace a friends alt on his honduh... didn't happen. i've never been so pissed off at a car before! its like the engine is upside down and backwards!!!

I just had to help my son figure out how hard it would be to change the alternator in his VR6. You gotta drop the fron grill, radiator, etc..

yeah, I remember helping my dad on the 87 Civic wagon. Roughly a 4-6 hour job. The worst part was the reman one he bought was bad, so he had to do it twice...

How long did it take you?
