Default NOT THE ALERO

Transmission in that car now too?!?!??! Are you kidding me??
I dont even drive that car hard!
It did it today when it was cold, accellerating in 1st heading to 2nd, it slipped hardcore, enough the car bounced off the rev limited a good 5 times before it lurched into gear.
Did it for a good 10 mins, then it kinda went away, then it was doing it accellerating up hills, now it just slips once or twice going up a hill, with the trans fully hot.
I hope my warranty covers this, im so fucked if it doesnt.
I need my Intense parts so i can get my bonneville on the road

That sucks Matt. :( I have heard those trannies are too weak for the 3.4'* power (don't know the whole story). But my bro-in-law had a GA GT, drove it fairly hard. He never had problems with it that I know of. I test drove an Alero GLS in 05, almost bought it. During the test drive @ WOT the 1 to 2 shift was VERY hard...scared me.

Okay, dropped the pan, the magnet had a teaspoon of grey sludge on it, fluid didnt look to bad.
But now it certainly slips say one in every five shifts it has to make from 1-2 even under moderate load.
I have to make a 220 mile round trip with this car on Thursday then again on Saturday.
Hmmmm
Bets?
My warranty DOES cover transaxle, thank god.
