All they do is cut off some surface of your eye, and use a laser to create the proper concave surface to focus light. I would do it if my eyes weren't already perfect!

I had it done about a year and a half ago. $3200 for both eyes. Got a VHS of the procedure. Pretty cool. Seems to freak most ppl out though. The Simpsons makes me wonder though....the episode where Homer goes to the future and Ned has no eyeballs because doctors didn't know the long term affects of laser eye surgery. But seriously, I'm glad I did it. Took me a couple of mornings to stop reaching for my glasses though!

So.... What'd it cost ya?
Sorry for the late reply. I had all-laser LASIK for $3,551 after $600 off with my insurance. Still doing well except for the night-time halos but they are getting better.

Nice nice! I've been thinking about getting it, but I believe you have to be over 25 or something like that I heard to get it and I'm only 19, 20 soon so I gotta wait..
