It'* a digital SLR. A good digital SLR. With a good lens and flash.

Used is usually around $650+, without the nice lens/flash.

I used a D100 for a semester for the school paper. The FPS was crap for Shooting sports since it'* a 5 year old design, but i managed with it. Biggest issue was when writers used it as a P&* and put everything into auto mode.

They ordered a bunch of stuff on my recommendations, such as a D100 and some NICE glass.

It'* good though, you can really do almost anything with it.

It'* a nice camera. Especially considering it'* my first DSLR. And it comes with an alright lens and flash. :P

I'm just excited, now I can pair it w/ my film SLR and get some pretty cool exposures.
