Ah yes, the speaker...good point. Well I'll try to be careful with it, and try to minimize the scratches. That design feature appears to be the only downside. Oh well. I was told it comes with a BlueTooth add-on, sadly I have no other BlueTooth gadgets to justify getting one.

Dude! I have the V262 which is same diff, just no camera. I love it...the speakerphone is decent and it syncs well to hands free headset.
Oddly enough, my wallpaper has been (pretty much constantly since I got it in Aug) the martini.

Nice! lol. Small wireless world eh Peej?
I take it yours has held up nicely too? I did find a leather case for it on Ebay, but it was looking a little ghey. It looked like a little leather outfit that had 2 straps around the top to allow room for the speakerphone.
Maybe I'll just be careful with it..lol

my mom has that same phone. She'* had NO problems with it whatsoever so far. I'm thinking of switching from Alltel to verizon as well. She gets a signal damn near everywhere.. I thought alltel was great until She got verizon.. it'* even better.
BTW, her background is set on Martini too.

LOL 2 women using the martini pic...ha!
Guess I better switch it to Fusion...go have a look you'll know what I mean mind you, youd have to know something about my work...for it to make sense.
I used it tonight to have a lengthy discussion with SpoTT, the guy that has my old 89, and for the first time I was able to use my phone in the underground concrete box called undergound parking. I was impressed. None of my Sammysungs could maintain a signal down there.

I havent seen that delay issue with my new phone, but its something to keep an eye out for. This one didnt have a belt clip, and I dont think I will need one. Working a desk job...it probably wont be necessary.
I'm not really a gadget man, so this phone is new to me, with the camera and speakerphone etc. I'm excited about it, nice to get new things, that end up costing less then expected (overall).
I have seen faceplate covers, but I think the black is sharp...gonna leave it alone for now.
Heh, wonder if the 1 year warranty covers superficial scratches! :P

Motorola is the king when it comes to 2-way communication. I think you'll like the phone.
I was a Nokia fan for a few years, until I switched back to Motorola. I won't make that mistake again.

Hey hey! I was hoping youd post up...seeing that you just got your Motorola! I kinda wanted a RAZR, seeing how its pretty simple with no crazy extra wacky features, but it wasnt offered as a part of the free deal.
Its crazy to see all these MP3, Itunes, TV, video camera, 1.3 mp cameras on phones!..its a phone!

I don't want gizmo'* either. That'* why I went with the RAZR (my 7th Motorala overall, and 4th in a row).
The RAZR has the same features as your phone, only a higher resolution CCD for the camera, and it has bluetooth. This was a big seller for me (like my last phone) as my laptop and PDA both have bluetooth as well.
