The work trucks the US Military purchases come with power locks/windows/mirrors, but no fobs. They can be added very easily though.

Thankyou everyone for your responses and comments.
Rest assured that I will not give up on this with the dealership. To clarify, for future comments, this is a "CERTIFIED2011GMCSIERRA 1500REGULARCAB STANDARDBOX 2-WHEEL DRIVE WORK TRUCK" with a 4.8L 8 cyl FI Flex Fuel VIN 1GTN1TEA5BZ384166.
For some strange reason the paperwork I have does not give a'TRIM' name or number.
When I put the VIN number into various web sites for information I get a pop up telling me that they cannot identify this VIN number.

The truck does have pwr windows, pwr door locks etc......... so l hope all can see my confusion. Am planning of visiting a couple other dealerships close by and see if they can shed any light or steer me in the right direction. I can't believe that GM is that cheap that they would put an ash tray in my truck (no lighter) , power door locks and not provide a FOB with it.
thanks all for your comments

Nah, that'* normal. To check if it'* a real VIN he could plug it into CARFAX though, that'll at least tell him what it is for sure.

l have a new thought,,,,,,,,, everyone in here sounds to be real familiar with GM. Does anyone know of a GM Dept. that I can call to either inquire or file a complaint or something? They probably don't but have to ask.
thankyou in advance
