Default New Laptop

I got me a new laptop today! Toshiba Satellite A200-AH3. Pentium Dual Core processor, 120GB HD, 15.4 LCD, 1GB ram plus I have a 200x speed flash drive to use as extra ram using Vista Premium Home edition.

A nice upgrade since my old system was a celeron 633mhz 512mb ram and full of trojans and spyware!

That sounds good! There seems to be a surge in laptop purchases here recently.... I'm planning on getting my wife an HP NX6710b soon. Work is offering a buy program I'm going to take advantage of.

you should have at least 2 gb. i suggest an upgrade. you'll see how bad it is without that extra gig. i've been running 1gb since i got my toshiba too and its just BAD. i'm upgrading the second i have some dough.

I do have 2Gb of ram. I just plug in my 1GB flash drive and Vista uses it as additional memory.....well at least 870mb of it! It'* 200X speed so Vista will support it. For what I do with it it suits me fine......remeber I just went from a Celeron 633mhz to a Pentium Dual core 1.73ghz so it'* plenty fast for me! I sell laptops so I got a good price on it.......naturally that was one of my deciding factors!

HP laptops are very nice but over MY budget......most of the ones I sell retail for over $1000 cdn......oh that'* like $1005 American now!
