Way cool Spiral
Looking at building a shop myself this summer.

Building codes are different from area to area, I have to dig down 6' and back fill with a 24" footing then cover with a 6" slab.
I think Im going to go with a 2' concrete pony wall then 8' stud wall on top of that. Being up north the walls will be 2x6 for extra insulation and a large snow load roof.
No lift this year but I will anchor steel plates into the concrete in preps.
Im hoping for 40' x 40' with a washroom and lounge area (coffee pot, tv, pc etc)
