Really a NICE car man. I keep looking at a Black one at the Dealer. But my Bonny cries when I look at it. That body looks like it cuts thru the wind. A "full sized" version of this with a V8 would be awesome.

The 3800 will end production soon if GM wants to stay competitive with competition. People want smooth and refined sohc and dohc designs. Its not about who can spin tires anymore!

BOOO!! That sucks. I love the 3800 and they will be more reliable than these new age DOD, and VVT setups. I can guarantee that they will be problematic in the future.

I say bring back the Shortstar!! its a good engine, they could just tweak it to get some more power out of there, put more up to date technology on there and youve got a winner right off the bat.

Its a great engine with very very few actual engine failures (at least from what ive gathered) so why not bring it back?

I can see it now....some GTP or SS version of a small car with a TCed 3.5....a SC would be too old school dontcha know

It was a very expensive engine to build, which is why GM discontinued it.. even though it'* reliable to boot and is peppy for its displacement. It'* used in sandrails, and with a turbo setup, they're getting well over 400 horsepower out of it.

I love the new G6'*. They're a real nice car for the price for sure. I also am in love with the new Saturn Skys.
