New G6 GTP!!!! (now with pics!)
Today I traded my GP 2-door in on a new G6 GTP 2-door. This car should scoot since it has the new 3.9L VVT 240hp with 240lbs torque in her. That'* almost the same as my 00 SSEi! I'll have to take em both to the track to see who can beet who! Any bets anyone???

The G6 most likely will be faster. It'* smaller, lighter, bigger engine (1/10 of a liter though, big whoop), and different gearing most likely
Overall, I'd still pick a bonne'

Ya I'm looking forward to the car. We take delivery on Moday June 12th! I used the tap shift during the test drive. Found it cool. Took it wooot and she felt pretty solid. It'* gonna be the wife'* car but when the bonnie needs a rest I'm sure I'll be co-piloting the G6!

I'd bet on the Bonnie. That extra 40 ft-lbs. is a big difference.
Beisides, I've popped a 4dr GTP(at the track, of course )
Not sure what gearing you've got, but I have the 2.93:1. If yours is taller, then the Bonnie is the definite victor.
BUT, take them throught the twisties, and I guarnatee the Bonnie loses big time.

Wow 240 hp without the need for a supercharger. GM is moving in the right direction. hmm guessing a supercharged version of that engine would push 300hp
