well they are finally ready to ship the engine for my gto.
i ordered it way back in the beginning of september. :?
6 months is a long wait , but it will be worth it.
455 engine. 405 hp and 475 ft lbs of torque.
i also stepped up to a 12 bolt rear out of a chevelle with 3:31 gears
cant wait ! look out rice ! here i come !

had a 400 engine in it before. spun a rod bearing 1 week before the woodward dream cruise. i ordered the new engine from "pontiac dude " in florida. $5700. that includes shipping and $350 to break it in.
also spent $500 for a new carb. an 850 cfm quadrajet with elec. choke. i had a guy named cliff ruggles build it for me. a lot of pontiac racers use his carbs. he has a book out on how to build them.
i cant wait to get this thing on the road !!
