I just posted some subs on craigslist and it asked me for my phone #, and it sent me a code, instead of the normal email they send u then u must activate threw the email...
or is this somekind of spam thingy thats trying to get my phone #?

Someone else try it!?!

Sure enough it was spam or whatever, i tried it again and it went like normal, of coarse im gulible and entered in my cell #, now im prolly gonna have to change it! AHHHH... there r so many people that have my #, and all my craigslist postings have my cell # on em (coded tho, so i dont get spam text and calls)

i usually put an email and not my number on there, email easier to change than phone number.

Raptor,

Check and see if your add posted, not by the link on the posting but by actually going through the Craigslist site. I had a rental property listed on Craigslist and put a link in for pictures. That link somehow grouped me with spammers and as a result Craigslist made me think I was posting an ad, but nobody but me could see it. Craigslist appears tp have spme very sophisticated technology to track a person. I laughe because I use it so little and to be marked a spammer was goofy.
