Default New Computer Monitor..... I need your expertise

I'm pretty sure that my current monitor is about to die so I've been looking around. So far I found some good ones, mostly Samsung, anybody have any suggestions? Under $300 please.....

Samsung Syncmaster 955 DF
Samsung Syncmaster 955 MB
Samsung Syncmaster 950 B
Samsung Syncmaster 900 NF
Samsung Syncmaster 957 MB
ViewSonic A90f+

Are those 19"? I have the Samsung 753DF 17" flat screen and it works great. I believe when I bought it 2 1/2 years ago it was under $300US. So those 19 should be under that by now also.

I have a samtron ( made by samsung pretty sure) and it has been great, bought 2 of them, one for me and one for my parents.

All I can say is BIGGER is BETTER, that goes for our cars too, hehe.

I have had great luck with both KDS and Viewsonic monitors. I have a A70f I think I paid about 150 for that.

All of them are 19 in...does the number have to do with anything? Like is the 900 going to be better than the 700?

Samsung is a good brand, but you are paying for the name.

NEC makes a great monitor. I bought a 17" flat CRT for 165.00 on Newegg.com

I'm sure you can find the same in a 19" for a little more.

Here is a pic of mine:

I wouldn't go above a 19" though. There are 21" ones at my work, and those things weigh about 80lbs. They are a pain to move.

Hey Sol.....

I was looking around at Newegg and I like what I see, which model do you have?

I was thinking about NEC/MITSUBISHI MultiSync FE770-BK or NEC/MITSUBISHI 17" CRT Black MONITOR MODEL FE771SB.

It'* all about the Samsungs. Hell I've got a SyncMaster 950p and a NEC staring at me right now. But I love the Samsung. I've also used Viewsonics and have not been impressed.
