Okay, I'm working on a business idea that'* just in the early early stages right now. Gonna be a few years off, but once I'm out of school(going to mechanic'* training for 14 months). I'm thinking that after a couple years of working, I think I'm gonna open a part shop. I want to have a shop where pretty much anything can be done... Current list of things I want to be able to do: Parts sales (of course), including performance parts. Tires and wheels, including custom rims. Installation of parts and repairs, classes for basic maintenance and repair, rice parts (body kits, clear corners, etc), custom fiberglass body kits and interiors, renting out garage space by the hour, including a lift in each bay and any tools that would be needed, as well as hiring techs by the hour for help doing work or advice. Classic car restorations, fully customized cars, a dyno, body work and custom paint, parts delivery, as well as allowing car clubs to hang out outside... So my question is, what would everyone else want out of a shop like that? I know a lot of it isn't really feasible, especially at first, but I want to do as much as possible within reason. So I could use suggestions on what people would want.
