I will make a long story short but it looks like after 10 years out of high school, I will finally be potentially done with college in december. Here is where it gets not confusing but debatable. I will have enough fluff credits on top of the main credits that I could pull off potentially getting 2 minors I am all but done with the Entrepreneurial minor but i got told that if I stuck it out 1 more class I could get a Decision science minor along with the BA in Business administration. If I play my cards right I could milk the scholarship for a full year but that would take some fast talking and potentially a fair amount of work on my end.

Would it be worth the extra semester and time and miles as this is a college 50 miles away 1 way from my house and job that pays the bills but has no upward movement potential. Basically what i am asking is the market feel like it is really soft now and would have more potential in a year or forego the extra class and jump into the market. I know that to get anywhere a MBA is almost required but the scholarship wont cover that. I don't really have any pressing bills that sitting at this dead end job for another 12 months wouldn't cover while what i would perceive as adding value or padding a resume during the time being. I have 6 years of military experience intermingled with the schooling that alot of applicants dont have these day, which should help advance my cause at least slightly. Any insight or advice or anything to help me consider my path would be greatly appreciated as I am not sure how to procede currently and anything to help clear things up would be nice to have.

If taking this extra class won't have an effect on finances and could have a better effect long term, I say go for it.

Though your scholarship may not cover your MBA, sometime down the road, you could work on it after you get a job and take night classes or an online course.

Enroll in the additional course, but start your job hunting now. If you find a decent job, quit the course. If you have not found a job by the time the course is over, you will not have wasted your time.
