Default Need a remote that can be used on a computer

Ok here is what I need.

I have a program that will allow me to control my camera via USB. The upside to this is that my camera does not come with a remote and it is not an option for it. SOO I need a remote that I can plug a reciever into my computer, and then program the remote to trigger a key, which would simulate me striking a key on the keyboard. (F8 and F9 to be exact)

Preferable something smallish, cheap and easily swapable between PCs.

Ideas?
