28mm=1.10236"

If you use a 1 1/8" socket you will have .02246" of slop. It'* pretty close. What do you need a 28mm socket for? Wheel bearings?

I just found out that a 1 1/8 will work. I'm using it for the crankshaft balancer so I can change my crank sensor. Thanks.
